I.

That on Sunday the 26th, day of September,

1909, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Inspector Knight

who was not then on duty nor within his own district (Health

District) did enter certain dwelling houses to wit Nos. 40 and

45 East Street without the permission of and against the will

of the occupants of the said houses.

II.

That Inspector Knight having unlawfully

entered the dwelling house No. 45, East Street aforesaid did

put one Wong Sam a married woman and the occupant, of house No.

40 East Street in fear of personal violence.

III.

That Inspector Knight having unlawfully

entered house No. 40 East Street as aforesaid did unlawfully

do damage to the said house by breaking one pane of glass in

room on the ground floor.

IV.

That on the same date between the game

hours Inspector Knight did enter the Disinfecting Station,

Taipingshan not being on duty and did without authority detach

one of the cane removing coolies on night duty to wit coolie

No. 51 Lam Ming from his proper duties without the knowledge of

the Inspector in charge of the said Station and take him for

his own private purposes to No. 40 East Street.
